Traditional centre in a modern guise

The DBK Budějovická is a shopping centre with a rich history. The centre was opened in 1981 as a House of Housing Culture and focused mainly on the sale of furniture. In the early 1990s, IKEA entered the market, building its first showroom here. In the mid-1990s, IKEA moved out and the building was subsequently operated as a department store in the Prior network. In 2006, the centre underwent reconstruction and modernization, which reflects the current needs of customers.
