The Industrial & Logistics department at CBRE specializes in advisory & transaction services for clients across property sales and leasing, land sales and acquisitions and property management. The industrial and logistics property sector currently records considerable expansion on the Czech real estate market driven largely by the expanding e-commerce and automotive industries. Bert Hesselink takes over from Michal Bezděka, who decided to move to Germany for family reasons.
Richard Curran, Managing Director at CBRE, commented:
"We respect Michal’s decision to spend time with his family and we wish him many more successes. At the same time, I look forward to working with Bert in this area and I believe that he will be an unquestionable asset and make full use of his knowledge and the opportunity to re-engage in the industrial and logistics areas, where he has already been working on a long term basis."
Bert Hesselink has more than fifteen years of experience in commercial real estate in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. He has previously served at CBRE in various positions, such as Business Development Director, Operations Director, Head of Workplace Strategies, Head of Office Agency and Head of Industrial Agency. He began his career as an Office Agent at the Dutch branch of CBRE in Amsterdam. In addition to his positions at CBRE, Bert Hesselink is also chairman of the real estate committee of the American Chamber of Commerce.
