The goal of the project is to adapt the speculative construction that is already underway to the specific needs of ViaPharma. Among other things, this means adding cooling and sections with different temperature modes. The construction and operation of the building will be in accordance with the requirements of the State Institute for Drug Control. The distribution centre will also have a pharmacy and a section dedicated to the distribution of the Dr. Max e-shop.
“Although we specialise in customised construction, this project is pushing our experience a little further. The warehouse is a unique combination of modern automation and very specific air-conditioning technology that allows you to set the exact temperature range throughout the warehouse. There will also be smaller reserved areas in the building subject to special climatic and hygienic regimes,” says Pavel Sovička, Managing Director of Panattoni Europe for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

“The assignment from ViaPharma required finding storage and logistics capabilities not only in the specific Prague-West location but also taking into account the required timing and arranging the necessary modifications and technical equipment of the halls and offices with respect to the client's operational needs. In the end, the client chose the option of having a customised hall built, since none of the existing ones met its requirements. We were glad that we managed to secure one of the last possibilities of construction in Prague-West for ViaPharma with the required timing,” says Ivana Watson of CBRE’s Advisory & Transaction Services - Industrial & Logistics Department.
