A functionalist palace in the centre of Prague, furnished in a way that was much ahead of its time. In 1927 Count Jindřich Kolowrat-Krakowsky sold his Castle in Týnec to the architect Jaroslav Polívka, who then built the functionalist Chicago Palace for Count Jindřich. This was one of the most modern buildings in Prague, alongside the Baťa Store at Můstek. Today the Chicago Palace serves as an administrative building with retail premises on the ground floor.
